Psalms 2:1-3 (NASB)
1 Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”
AI Overview of Psalm 2:3
Psalm 2:3 describes the futile rebellion of worldly rulers who reject God’s authority and His Anointed King, Jesus Christ. They interpret the Lord’s laws and decrees as binding chains and oppressive rules they wish to cast off. The verse highlights humanity’s deep-seated desire for autonomy from divine rule, viewing God’s laws as an unwanted restraint rather than a path to true freedom.
The Meaning of “Let us break their chains and cast away their cords”
* Human Rebellion: This phrase represents the universal human tendency to defy God’s sovereignty and reject His authority.
* Rejection of God’s Law: The “chains” and “cords” symbolize God’s laws, commandments, and ordinances. The rulers want to be free from these divine obligations, seeing them as burdensome restrictions.
* Desire for Self-Rule: Their desire is to be their own gods and to govern themselves without any divine supervision, prioritizing personal desires and sinful pleasures over God’s commands.
* Messianic Context: While applying to earthly kings in David’s time, the verse ultimately speaks to the rebellion against God’s ultimate Anointed King, Jesus Christ.
* Futility of Rebellion: The psalm’s context emphasizes that this resistance is “in vain” (verse 1) because it is impossible to break free from the ultimate authority of God and His appointed King.
I believe nations are in the valley of decision like never before. And the nations are hearing the gospel like never before,
Have you noticed that not everyone is listening. While Satan is pushing the people to push off the restraint of truth and righteousness, God is patient and calling out to the masses through His saints. We are His mouth, we are His hands and Heaven is asking for His witness to stand up and be seen and heard. The days of mediocrity have ended. The day to be counted has been ushered in. It is time for the saints to rise and testify of the King and His Kingdom. The good news (gospel) of the Kingdom has come.
The Bible speaks about how in the last days before the return of Christ Jesus that the earth will be a very polarized place where evil is considered good and good is considered evil. It is Satan’s plan to keep as many from coming into the Kingdom as possible.
What a futile and witty scheme to get those who have not created right or wrong to argue about right and wrong. Would it not be better to go to the creator?
2 Timothy 3:1-4 (NASB)
“Difficult Times Will Come”
1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
The sleeping giant of the church is awakening and the prince of this world “Satan” is causing the nations to rage and rise up in a spirit of antichrist. Do you see it? It is time for the truth bearers to arise and preach a message of repentance and entrance. It is time for people to repent of their way of thinking and enter into relationship with King Jesus. This is what it means to be converted or saved. In reality when a person submits their Life to the lordship of Christ they are entering into His Kingdom, a Kingdom that cannot be shaken or destroyed.
They become holy because of the blood of Jesus and the sacrifice He made. He lived a life without sin as the son of the living God which gave him the right to cleanse us and heal us from the power of sin and the grave.
Our sin causes us to be separated from God, We were born into a world where our spirit is cut off and has no access to the Spirit of God. It is the entire point of free will. God does not assimilate us into his Kingdom. He does not enslave us to His Kingdom. He simply invites us to enter in. It is our choice. A choice that brings blessing, awakening and purpose.
Relationship with Christ causes us to truly find our purpose in life.
Colossians 3:1-4 (NIV)
Living as Those Made Alive in Christ
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
People are choosing which God they will serve, which truth they will uphold, which ideology they will adhere to. A choice must be made for a non choice is actually a choice. This choice is the most important choice one can make, for it is the determining factor of where we will spend eternity. With God and His Kingdom or separated from God and experiencing the same consequences that “Satan” will experience in the end. I am afraid it is not the big party in hell that people hope it will be. And it is final.
John 15:22-25 (NIV)
22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’
Christianity still stands as our bastion of hope worldwide. The bulwark that keeps Satan from having his way. The government of the ism’s will not save us nor will they create peace within the earth. Capitalism nor Socialism nor any other ideology has the power or the wisdom to bring peace to the earth. Only the teachings of Jesus Christ the son of God will usher in that kind of peace and good will toward all men. The teachings of Christ are the building blocks of a government of peace. It was prophesied in scripture thousands of years ago as God knows the end from the beginning.
Isaiah 9:6-7 (NASB)
6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. the zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.
As the people and the nations submit to His plan and guidelines the earth will begin to look more like heaven. Things will come into God’s perfect design and the people will experience the new heaven and new earth. For this reason Jesus said to pray these words.
“Thy Kingdom come and thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”
Before this happens there will be great clashes between good and evil, darkness and light. There is a great battle coming to this earth and even nations are deciding which side they are on.
The blight of antisemitism and anti-Christian ideologies are being propagated all over the world and the truth as laid out in scripture Is being mocked like never before. Like in the days of Noah.
Matthew 24:36-42 (NASB)
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37 For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
Be Ready for His Coming
42 “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. The nations are presently siding in and out with Israel. Even many Christians and pastors are conflicted over what is right and wrong.
Matthew 24:22-27 (NIV)
22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Righteousness and unrighteousness are not subjective as many believe but instead truth is subject to the King of Glory and righteousness is what His throne is built upon.
I speak to those pastors and politicians that the King has His own standard and our only option is to align with His plan.
“Do homage to (kiss) the Son lest He be angry”
It is time to kneel before the King and say “According to your will” we are not in charge, we do not make the rules, mankind did not create the playing field. Who is man to think that we can judge the righteousness of the one who created it. I think not…
Psalms 2 (NASB)
The Reign of the LORD’S Anointed.
1 Why are the nations in an uproar
And the peoples devising a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”
4 He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying,
6 “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
7 “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You.
8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron, you shall shatter them like earthenware.’”
10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; take warning, O judges of the earth.
11 Worship the LORD with reverence and rejoice with trembling.
12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
God is patient and not desiring that any would perish but the day will come when the wheat and the tares will be gathered and the angels will separate the real from the fake and the real will remain to nature the planet as God intended.
John 3:16-21 (NASB)
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”
Parable of the Wheat and Tares
Matthew 13:24-30 (KJV)
24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 — He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
The people are hearing and choosing which side they are going to choose. As the nations become increasingly polarized it is also becoming increasingly obvious where the people stand from place to place and heart to heart.
2 Peter 3:3-14 (NASB)
The Coming Day of the Lord
3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” 5 For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
A New Heaven and Earth
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. 11 Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! 13 But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
14 Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless,
Today is the day to repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. The message of the apostle Peter is as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago.
Acts 2:38-41 (NIV)
38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off —for all whom the Lord our God will call.” 40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
If you are ready to make this choice then heaven is ready to receive you, and the Holy Spirit is ready to bring your conscience into alignment with the truth of God. Through the Spirit of God He will begin to change you from the inside out. His Kingdom is ready for you, as is a life of purpose and fulfillment. Change your mind today “repent” and choose to realign with your creator who is the source of life and light.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Buddha, Muhammad, Shiva nor any other God can save you other than Jesus Christ. He is the only one who was raised from the dead and who can cause you to raise from the dead by His Spirit.
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
