Pride is the original sin and spiritual arrogance is a cancer in the body of Christ. I prophesy that elitism is breaking off of the body of Christ that we might begin to discover the greatness in each restorative movement.
Arrogance
Arrogance refers to an inflated sense of self-importance and superiority, often rooted in insecurity. It manifests as an exaggerated belief in one’s own abilities, dismissing the perspectives and contributions of others. Arrogant individuals may talk constantly about themselves, refuse to acknowledge mistakes, and struggle to accept criticism.
Elitism
Elitism, on the other hand, describes the belief that a select group of individuals, based on factors like wealth, education, or social standing, should hold power and influence in society. It can lead to the concentration of power among a few, potentially marginalizing minority groups and hindering social mobility. Elitism can also foster a sense of entitlement and a disregard for the needs and concerns of ordinary citizens.
Leaders:
We must sow the right seed with a right heart to unlock the fulness of His kingdom…
Some things are not important to you now that should be, and there are some things important to you that should and will be important to others.
Why not build a bridge to your next download? It could be coming from the grace you once dismissed.
Never diminish or make small of the things God holds precious even if it is not your “thing” for the grace or expression you dismiss is often necessary for you and your expression to come into wholeness. Spiritual leaders should make way for the entirety of the body of Christ.
Inclusivity is not optional.
Galatians 3:26-29 (NIV)
26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Shortsightedness keeps us in a very small place. We must make way for a better day by opening our hearts to that which we don’t understand and that which we do not prefer..
Philippians 2:3 (NASB)
3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;
We are many who are becoming one. See to it!
Ephesians 4:4-7 (NIV)
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called ; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.
