I wonder sometimes if I hate injustice more than God does. He is the only one that really knows the fullness of both perspectives. We are simply left with the revealed facts and judging between two parties is tedious. Patience is truly a virtue even if we spend a lot of “time” gaining fullness of perspective.
I have had the challenge of knowing quite a few spiritual leaders who are challenged by the time commitment of doing justice.
Isaiah 56:1-2 (NKJV)
1 Thus says the LORD:
“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
There is nothing more impotent than a spiritual leaders who refuses to do justice. Spiritual leader who refuse to go the distance to gain perspective are a hindrance to righteousness. Yes it takes work to seek out the truth but it is a key part of the government of the kingdom.
Parents and leaders who punish all parties when there is an altercation might think they are curtailing the problem
but in actuality they are making it much worse by not standing for righteousness.
Never let righteousness be lost in the shuffle. Even if it makes your day easier.
The kingdom Is about righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Never let righteousness suffer to just make the situation go away. At best it just gets burried.
Injustice provokes people to wrath and especially your children both spiritual and natural.
Seek righteousness…. always!
Proverbs 21:3 (NKJV)
3 To do righteousness and justice
Is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
