All leaders build in a way but some are so consumed by their vision that they fail miserably at helping others enter into their respective callings. The need to succeed is driven by a different spirit than the desire to father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It seems that the vision of some leaders is so niche that they only see the development of others through the filter or need of fulfilling their own private calling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Building ministries and churches was never meant to be a thing but It has become the preoccupation of so many leaders. Building people is a more accurate way to build. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Building a ministry for Jesus is the trap that many fall into as they fix their gaze upon the validation and affirmation of the Father as well as the accolades of man. Some settle for the latter because it at least strokes their ego. The winners manage to climb the mountain of ministerial success only to realize that it was a futile exercise in chasing the wind. It is all a sad snare. Those who make it to the top only have their success to comfort them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
True ministerial success as a spiritual leader is experienced when the calling and destiny in the lives of others is discovered. Fathering is the most accurate posture and stance a leader can take because their joy is measured by others coming into their full potential in the Kingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
True success of a spiritual leader is measured by the love and commitment they show to those under their care. The success of others is not our success but instead it is the byproduct of our success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have met many leaders who only see people as a means to their success. They approach people as important but expendable players on the chess board of their ministerial pursuit. Every pawn is needed in order to win the game of success but every pawn is also expendable as long as the leader is a \u201cwinner\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you have fallen into the snare of selfish ambition \u201cfor God\u201d then I have great news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is an exit strategy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Stop building the church and instead equip people in their calling and destiny. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Stop building your empire and instead empower people to seek 1st the Kingdom and align for Kingdom purpose<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Stop being a boss and instead be a father who raises up children in the way they should go. Into their prophetic destiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Stop yoking people to your vision and instead yoke them to their individual and collective callings and give your life to make them a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Stop doing church and or building your ministry and instead create structure which facilitates your call to serve the success of others<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7. Align yourself with others who have a conviction to do the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
True fathers are driven by the desire to awaken others in their identity in Christ and to engage their calling and destiny as it relates to the Kingdom of God. True fathers are called to help others steward their vision well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is nothing wrong with building a ministry. There is nothing wrong with gathering saints and calling it a church per say. There is nothing wrong with connecting with others to do something you know is in the heart of God. What makes all of these things wrong is simply tied to the spirit driving driving the processes. Are we building sons and daughters or are we building our own success at the expense of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Good leaders understand that their greatest honor is to unlock greatness in others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
